Family fun at the Y
The El Camino YMCA, 2400 Grant Road in Mountain View, will hold Healthy Kids Day from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., April 10. The free event is devoted to family learning and fun. Activities will include swimming, soccer, volleyball, basketball, roller hockey, football and more. Local vendor booths will feature refreshments and give-aways. Special volunteers

Athletes with asthma
The 15th annual Asthma Athlete Scholarship Program for high school scholar-athletes with asthma is under way. The program will grant $35,000 in scholarships to 10 seniors who have achieved athletic success in spite of the challenge of asthma. Entry deadline is April 15.
