Spring sports camp Twisters Kids, a nonprofit organization in Mountain View, is offering a one-week sports camp from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., April 12-16. Activities will include gymnastics, indoor rock climbing and other sports activities for kids. Camp fees start at $95. Space is limited and advance reservations are recommended. Down with ODP Gunn High sophomore Edward Cranmer-Brown has been named to the Northern California Olympic Development Program (ODP) state soccer team. Cranmer-Brown, a member of the Palo Alto Soccer Club, will play on the ODP's under-16 squad. He competed against nearly 80 other players to make the team. In July, Cranmer-Brown will try to earn a spot on the Regional Team in Idaho. Family fun at the Y The El Camino YMCA, 2400 Grant Road in Mountain View, will hold Healthy Kids Day from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday. The free event is devoted to family learning and fun. Activities will include swimming, soccer, volleyball, basketball, roller hockey, football and more. Local vendor booths will feature refreshments and give-aways.
