The Santa Clara Valley chapter of the California Native Plant Society along with the Foothill College horticulture department will have a native plant sale 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday and Sunday, at Foothill College, on El Monte Road in Los Altos Hills.

The event will also feature a wildflower show along with native plant seeds and bulbs.

The Westbay Iris Society will hold its 21st annual show 1-5 p.m., this Sunday, at the Elizabeth F. Gamble Garden Center, 1431 Waverley St., Palo Alto.

On display will be tall bearded iris as well as other classifications of iris in full bloom. Experts also will be on hand to offer tips on growing and cultivating the flowers.

Admission is free.
