Organizers of this year's Los Altos High School "Grad Nite" celebration are holding a flea market, set for 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., April 24, at the high school, 201 Almond Ave., Los Altos.
The event will feature clothing, furniture, records, clothing and assorted household items.
Job fair for teens
Students will have the opportunity to begin their summer job searches next month at the annual Teen Job Fair.
The fair will be held from 2-3:30 p.m., April 28, at the Mountain View High School gymnasium, and from 2:30-4 p.m., April 29, in the Los Altos High School quad. More than 30 local businesses are expected to be on site with job descriptions and applications.
The event is free.
Woodside holds silent auction
Woodside Priory School will hold its last fund-raising event for the millennium at 6 p.m., May 1, at the Hotel Sofitel in Redwood City. The theme is "20th Century Limited" - named for the first-class train that ran between New York City and Chicago every night from 1902 until 1967. The event will feature both a silent and live auction, dinner, and dancing.
There will also be a raffle for a choice of free tuition for the upcoming academic year or $10,000.
