The Friends of the Los Altos Library will hold their spring used-book sale this weekend at the Hillview Community Center, 97 Hillview Ave., Los Altos.

From 7-9 p.m. Friday the sale is for members only. Family memberships are available at the main library for $5. The sale is open to the public from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and from noon to 3 p.m. Sunday. On Sunday books are sold by the bag. Bags are available at the door for $2 each and there is no limit to the number of bags purchased.

The library thanks all who donated food, drink and gift certificates for the thank-you reception held April 21 for all the community members who volunteer at the library.
