Internet tutoring matches K-12 students
Published on 04/28/1999

The Santa Clara County Office of Education and the California Department of Education recently launched "Tutoring Network," a new Web site that links K-12 students with local college-aged tutors.

Schools anywhere in the state can go online to identify and contact the nearest college or university tutoring program that can serve their students.

Nearly 280 programs are already registered on the site. Colleges can register their tutoring programs online.

To access the site, go to www.caltutor.org.
