All proposals came in on Friday, said City Manager Phil Rose, for the corner where Kentucky Fried Chicken was for years and currently there is a furniture consignment store. "I cannot say what (the proposals) are. The council will deal with them in a closed session because they all involve real property negotiations," Rose said. "It doesn't matter if the proposal involves a lease or purchase of city land," he said. "Both are subject to executive session." Rose said he expected the council will be reviewing the proposals before or after its regular meeting next Tuesday. "I haven't even opened the packages yet," he said on Monday. |
