A 'Block party' weekend at Congregation Beth Am

All events are open to the public and free of charge, except as noted.

Friday, June 18: 7:30 p.m., Shabbat (Sabbath) Services followed by Oneg Shabbat (cookies and punch reception), in honor of departing Rabbi Richard Block and his wife, Susie.

Saturday, June 19: 4 p.m., building dedication; 4:30 p.m., learning opportunities for adults and children; 5:30 p.m., picnic supper (by advance reservation and payment only); 7 p.m., roast and toast for Rabbi Rick and Susie Block. Also available: storytelling and crafts by Mara of Storysong Productions; 8 p.m., Havdalah (a brief outdoor service marking the end of the Sabbath); dessert immediately following Havdalah.
