Local artists to 'Paint the Town' beginning Saturday

Local artists will be out to capture the look of Los Altos and Los Altos Hills when they "Paint the Town." The event, scheduled from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., this Saturday, features artists painting their favorite local buildings.

The event offers the public a chance to watch the artists at work throughout the day. Each artist will have 30 more days to complete the work and have it framed for display.The event is supported by the Los Altos Art Club, Los Altos Village Association, the Los Altos Chamber of Commerce and the PenWest Board of Realtors.

Artists of all ages and artistic experience are invited to participate. Call Gail Vanderberg at 948-9000 for a participation agreement.
