When: Weekly camps started this past Monday and run through July 30. Full-day camps go from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and half-day camps are 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. or 1-4 p.m., weekdays. Extended care is available from 4-6 p.m. Curriculum: Instructional classes in swimming, softball, basketball, football, volleyball, soccer, tennis and other sports. Instructors: Led by Monica and Nelson Lodge, athletic directors at Los Altos and Irvington high schools, respectively. Ages: 5-14. Cost: Full-day rate is $155 per week, half-day is $82.50 and extended is $265. Phone: 947-9618. Foothill College Basketball Camp Where: Foothill's Middlefield Road campus in Palo Alto. When: Offers two sessions, from 9-11:20 a.m., June 21-25 and then from 2-4:20 p.m., June 28-July 2. Curriculum: Stresses improving skills through drills and scrimmages. Instructor: Tony McGilvery. Ages: 8-17. Cost: $110. Phone: 424-8600. Youth Tennis Camp Where: De Anza College in Cupertino. When: Offers three sessions. From 4:30-6 p.m., June 21-24, June 28-July 1 and Aug. 3-8. Stanford Boys Basketball Camp Where: Stanford University. When: High Potential Camp is set for June 23-27 and Day Camp will be July 5-9. Curriculum: Emphasis on fundamentals, sportsmanship and team play. Each player gets a personal skills evaluation. High Potential camp is for those in eighth grade and above who seek more competitive sessions. Instructors: Led by Stanford men's coach Mike Montgomery and his staff. Ages: 8-18. Cost: $275-$460. Where: Mountain View Sports Pavilion and Santa Clara High When: Four weekly sessions will be held from June 21 through July 23. Curriculum: Honing skills with various drills.
