Pamilla and his family are moving to Southern California where they will live in La Mesa. The reception was attended by numerous county and city officials paying tribute to Pamilla's contributions to the poor and needy. Pamilla received the following honors: an award from the board of directors at the St. Joseph the Worker Center; a city of Mountain View resolution; a city of Los Altos proclamation; and a certificate of appreciation from the School Linked Services System. Pamilla was also honored at the June 10 meeting of the Los Altos Rotary Club, where Rotarians Rudy Ligtelyn and Jane Reed presented Pamilla with a Paul Harris Fellowship for his accomplishments. Pamilla, a member of the Mountain View Rotary Club since 1987, said in a brief speech, "Don't let our comfort levels lull us into inaction, for the neediest among us are also the least vocal." |
