Assault

June 20, 11:12 a.m.: a 41-year-old man on speed or cocaine hit his mother in the nose. A report was taken.

Burglary

June 19, 7:53 p.m., 1000 block of Golden Way: A caller reported a possible forced entry through the kitchen window. Items were missing. A report was taken.

Domestic violence

June 18, 12 p.m., 1000 block of Alford Avenue: Police received a 911 hang up call. A woman called back and told police a man was there and refused to leave. An arrest was made.

Bike thefts

June 18, 10:16 a.m., Santa Rita Avenue: A bicycle was stolen from a rear yard.

June 18, 3:09 p.m., Homestead Road: A bicycle was stolen about an hour ago in front of a store.

Hit and run

June 18, 7:26 p.m., 900 block of Altos Oaks Drive: A caller reported damage to his front yard and front door by a vehicle. A report was taken.

Threats

June 14, 1:36 p.m., First Street: A grocery store received a threatening letter from a Los Altos resident. Store security contacted the police.

Mischief

June 13, 12:24 p.m., 1000 Penny Way: Two vehicles were spray painted in front of the house during the night.

Assault

June 10, 6 p.m., Oak: a caller reported that the drivers of a red Toyota 4 Runner and a red Volvo were arguing over a traffic dispute. The driver of the Toyota hit the driver of the Volvo after he stuck his hand in the car. An arrest was made.

Suspicious circumstance

June 10, 10 p.m., 2000 block of Huntington Lane: A caller reported that she had been out of town for 3-4 days. She discovered a tracer on her phones. She was uncertain how they got there. The tracers were attached to her phone lines outside.
