Foundation looking for leaders

The Los Altos Community Foundation is accepting applications for its 1999-2000 Leadership Education Advancement course in community involvement. The course is aimed at Los Altos area residents. Program topics include local government, education, health and social services, the arts and business.

According to LEAD co-chairwoman, Marge Bruno, nearly 50 participants have completed the course and many of them are already involved in volunteer and leadership positions in area.

Class sessions begin in September and are held once a month except December. The classes are conducted from 7-9 p.m. at various public facilities located in Los Altos.
