Graduates

Sarah Bentley Wilson, daughter of Stuart and Laurie Wilson of Los Altos Hills, recently received a bachelor's degree in biology, cum laude, from Pomona College. She was elected to Phi Beta Kappa and received the Senior Service Award. Wilson is a graduate of Pinewood High School.

Rosanne Mary Scholl, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert J. Scholl of Los Altos, recently received a bachelor's degree in economics from Pomona College. Scholl is a graduate of Pinewood High School.

Ajay Nandanwar and Parthasarathy Ramachandra, both of Mountain View, recently graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Nandanwar received a master's degree in computer science and Ramachandra received a master's degree in science.

William L. Coggshall of Los Altos, recently graduated from Marquette University with a degree in law.

Robert David de Vos, son of Chris and Karen de Vos of Los Altos, recently graduated from Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Ga. De Vos participated in the five-year cooperative education program and graduated with high honors with a bachelor's degree in computer engineering. De Vos made the dean's list every quarter that he was enrolled at Georgia Tech. He is finishing his 160-mile hike of the Appalachian Trail this August. He plans to attend a master's program in computer engineering this fall at Georgia Tech.

Victoria Perkocha, daughter of Jolly and Ron Perkocha of Los Altos, graduated in June from Stanford Medical School. She will continue her medical training as a resident in diagnostic radiology at the University of California at San Francisco's Moffit/Long Hospital. Perkocha is a graduate of Los Altos High School.

Marily Oppezzo, daughter of Fred and Georgette Oppezzo of Los Altos, graduated June 12 from Santa Clara University with the following honors: distinction in majors, magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa. A valedictorian graduate from Mountain View High School, where Oppezzo's father teaches, Oppezzo earned bachelor's degrees in psychology and Italian. Oppezzo attended Oak School, where her mother has been a teacher for 14 years.
