July 26, 7:40 a.m., 100 block of Portola Avenue: Graffiti was reported on the music/arts room in the rear of Eagan Junior High.

Threats

July 26, 9:44 a.m., 1400 block of Grant Road: A woman reported receiving hate letters from June to July 6.

Assault

July 26, 6:13 p.m., 1100 block of Los Altos Avenue: A rock was allegedly thrown between two employees, resulting in facial injuries, police said.

Traffic accident

July 27, 12:02 a.m., Fallen Leaf Lane/Fremont Avenue: A stop sign was knocked down at the SE corner.

Arson

July 27, 8:47 p.m., Parma Way/Rosita Avenue: A vehicle was reported on fire, with a structure possibly threatened.

Dumpster fire

July 27, 8:55 p.m., 400 block of San Luis Avenue: A woman reported a fire in her debris box out front.

Assault

July 27, 11:31 p.m.: A son reported that his father just tried to strangle him. Police said the father had been drinking.

Domestic violence

July 28, 12:26 a.m.: One parent was thrown to the ground. Police reported hearing a woman screaming not to let the father into the house. Police made an arrest.

Arson

July 28, 9:04 a.m., 400 block of San Luis Avenue: A caller said his car was damaged by a large firecracker between 2 p.m. July 27 and 8:30 a.m. July 28.

July 28, 8:49 a.m., 100 block of Doud Drive: A caller reported his mailbox was smashed.

Injury accident

July 28, 6:09 p.m., Altos Oaks Drive/Fremont Avenue: Skateboarder vs. bicyclist.

Car break-in

July 28, 10:26 p.m., 4900 block of El Camino Real: Jeep window smashed.
