On the lookout for leaders

The Los Altos Community Foundation is accepting applications for its 1999-2000 Leadership Education Advancement course in community involvement. The six-month course is aimed at Los Altos area residents. Program topics include local government, education, health and social services, the arts, and business. The class explores volunteer opportunities within those areas.

Class sessions begin in September and are held once a month except December. The classes are conducted from 7-9 p.m. at various public facilities located in Los Altos.
