Police said all but one of the incidents occurred in the 600 block of Ellis Street.
On Sunday, an officer working surveillance observed a man whose car, a 1989 Oldsmobile, matched a description in the robberies. Darian James Branch of San Jose was booked for robbery, attempted robbery and a parole violation.
