Susan Yip is the new adult program librarian at the Los Altos Library, replacing Bonnie Natsuhara, who is the new technical services manager at the Santa Clara County Library System headquarters.

Yip received her library degree at the University of California at Berkeley, and began her library career with the Oakland Public Library System, working as a children's librarian and at the Asian Library. She then worked as adult program librarian in Morgan Hill for 10 years. After a year as a substitute librarian in the Valley, she rejoined the county system at Cupertino for four years.

Her hobbies include gardening, cooking and reading.
