Prowling

Aug. 17, 7 p.m., 1100 block of Altamead Drive: A caller said he had had prowlers in his backyard about 5 p.m. Barking dogs woke him up.

Drunk

Aug. 17, 10:20 a.m., 100 block of North San Antonio Road: Police made an arrest, a "sleeper in the bushes."

Theft

Aug. 17, 1:21 p.m., 97 Hillview Ave.: A backpack was reported stolen. The two suspects, males 17-18 years old, left in a '99 dark blue Blazer.

Burglary

Aug. 17, 2:42 p.m., 800 block of Dixon Way: A caller reported $6,000 of equipment stolen from a construction site.

Vandalism

Aug. 17, 4:14 p.m., 400 block of Fremont Avenue: A caller reported scratches to his car while in the Pinewood School parking lot.

Elder scam

Aug. 18, 8:04 a.m.: Los Altos Police assisted other agencies.

Burglary

Aug. 18, 3:48 p.m., 800 block of Arroyo Road: Police reported a house was broken into through a bedroom window.

Threats

Thursday, 9:37 p.m., 400 block of Gabilan Street: A caller said an ex-boyfriend was outside her home, threatening her.

Malicious mischief

Saturday, 6:54 p.m., 4800 block of El Camino Real: A resident reported that two male juveniles threw soda onto his vehicle and onto him in the parking lot. The juveniles were driving a blue and white pickup.

Phone offenses

Sunday, 1:31 p.m., 300 block of First Street: A woman said she received two threatening phone calls from an unknown caller who described what she was wearing and made obscene suggestions.

Illegal dumping

Sunday, 6:10 p.m., 700 block of Altos Oaks Drive: Police charged a 56-year-old man with using a Dumpster illegally.
