Los Altos Library will present a book discussion series this fall on family life in contemporary fiction.

Everyone is welcome to the discussions at 7:30 p.m., on Wednesdays.

No registration is necessary. Participants are asked to read the selection prior to the meeting.

The books are: Sept. 15, "The Joy Luck Club," by Amy Tan; Oct. 13, "The Handmaid's Tale," by Margaret Atwood; Dec. 8, "Ordinary Love & Goodwill, Two Novellas," by Jane Smiley.
