Local lectures accompany SF Opera season

The Los Altos Main Library will hold a free lecture at 7:30 p.m., Oct. 13, that highlights the extended San Francisco Opera Season, which runs through June 2000.

As an added attraction, Ramona Rockway, Bay Area opera lecturer and voice coach, will include film clips of interviews with such opera stars as Placido Domingo, Fredericka Van Staade, and Dimitri Hzorastovsky, sharing their personal and professional anecdotes.

The City of Los Altos, Friends of the Los Altos Library, and the Los Altos Arts Committee are co-sponsoring the event.
