Neil Schiffman's participation in Saturday's Ironman Triathlon in Panama City, Fla., has a duel purpose. The 51-year-old not only wants to do well in the race - which involves a 2.4-mile swim, a 112-mile bike ride and 26.2-mile run - but he also wants to raise money for the Community School of Music & Arts. Schiffman has been gathering sponsorships and the funds will benefit CSMA, a non-profit arts education center in Mountain View. To sponsor Schiffman, a veteran triathlete, call CSMA at 961-0342, ext. 303.
