Nov. 1, 2:31 p.m., 400 block of Raquel Lane: Police issued a citation for a leaf-blower violation.

Fraud

Nov. 1, 3 p.m., 900 block of N. San Antonio Road: Police received a call about a fraudulent check at a realty office.

Domestic violence

Nov. 1, 3:39 p.m.: A woman told police she had been abused by her husband for 12 years. She said that on Oct. 31 he hit her and pushed her to the floor, and that she could not take the abuse any more.

Phone hang-ups

Nov. 1, 6:39 p.m. 1100 block of St. Joseph Avenue: A resident reported that for the past two weeks someone had been calling, staying on the line and not saying anything.

Possible stalker

Nov. 1, 10:20 p.m., 600 block of Riverside Drive: A caller reported a 60-year-old man wearing glasses in her backyard. Police reported the incident as a possible stalker.

Juvenile control

Nov. 3, 8:44 a.m.: A caller reported that a 9-year-old boy was playing in a tree 100-feet off the ground. The fire department also responded.

Mental problems

Thursday, 8:42 a.m.: A caller went to a Los Altos address to make an inspection. The resident became combative, police said, hitting doors and walls.

Theft

Thursday, 3:09 p.m., 2000 block of Crist Drive: A caller reported a lost or stolen license plate.

Assault

Thursday, 4:01 p.m., Fremont and Oakhurst avenues: A caller said that a construction worker who was directing traffic was hit by a man driving a white Volkswagen van.

Missing person

Thursday, 7:04 p.m.: Police said a 76-year-old Los Altos man, who had been released from the San Jose jail at 3:30 p.m., was missing.
