Music and Memories at Los Altos History House

The Los Altos History House presents "Music and Memories of the Way We Were: Los Altos During the 1940s," from 2-3 p.m., this Sunday, Dec. 5.

History House is located at 51 S. San Antonio Road, in the civic center complex, behind the library.

The program this Sunday will feature the war years, the home front and the post-war boom with an eyewitness account of the bombing of Pearl Harbor. The program will include music from the 1944 Hit Parade, with songs such as "I'll be Seeing You," "Long Ago and Far Away" and "Swinging on a Star."

The program is free. People are invited to come in uniform. For more information, call 948-9427.
