Los Altos Hills Town Hall

Painter Mary S. Cox and sculptor Lidija Tkalcevic were welcomed at an artists reception held earlier this month at Town Hall in Los Altos Hills.

Both artists have exhibits on display at Town Hall through Dec. 20. Cox, who studied at the Academy of Art in San Francisco, is chief editor for the Watermedia Focus Workbook, a quarterly magazine.

Tkalcevic was born in Croatia and moved to California 18 years ago.

Her interest in the human body has led her to capture funny and sad movements of everyday life in sculptures.

The exhibit is open Mondays through Fridays during town staff hours. Town Hall is located at 26379 Fremont Road.

The next show, opening on Jan. 9, will feature painter Hub McDaniel and gourd art by Ginger Summit.
