Los Altos Village Association hosting annual 'Breakfast With Santa' Saturday and Dec. 18

The Los Altos Village Association will host its annual Breakfast with Santa this coming Saturday and Dec. 18, at 9 a.m. at Joccos Restaurant at 236 Central Plaza in Downtown Los Altos.

Children and their parents will enjoy a full-course breakfast accompanied by musical entertainment, receive holiday prizes and experience the joyful arrival of Santa Claus. Parents are encouraged to bring a camera for this great photo opportunity! Tickets for the event are $15 and always a quick sell-out, as seating is limited.

Entertainment this year will feature multi-instrumentalist, performer, educator and songwriter Wiley Rankin. He will perform songs playing his flute, guitar, piccolo, saxophone and harmonica. Rankin has been featured on the Disney Channel's "Songwriter Showcase" and nationally syndicated radio programs.

"Children look forward to this event each year as a result of the fun that it offers," said Kathleen Byrne, executive director of the Los Altos Village Association. "Each year the event grows in terms of the number of kids that attend and in the participation from Joccos."

"We love kids and want to contribute to the holiday celebration in Los Altos," said Joccos co-owner Meredith Carpenter.

Tickets are on sale at Marion Jackston, 165 Main St.; Adventure Toys, 173 Main St.; Young Villagers, 205 Main St.; Lin's Toy Cupboard, 237 State St.; and the Los Altos Recreation Department, 97 Hillview Ave.
