Local senior community wins national award

The Forum has been named the 1999 National Community Association of the Year for medium-sized communities by the Community Associations Institute (CAI). The 10th annual awards program honors condominium, cooperative and homeowner associations that excel in all aspects of operations, management and community involvement. The mid-size category comprises communities containing between 150 and 499 homes.

Winners were honored Oct. 28-30 at CAI's 47th National Conference in Atlanta.
