Malicious mischief

Dec. 11, 9:35 a.m., 100 block of Merritt Road: A caller reported that the house was egged overnight, according to police. A report was taken.

Dec. 11, 2:03 p.m., A caller reported damage to a vehicle, according to police. There were several scratches and dents. It possibly happened overnight. A report was taken.

Dec. 6, 10:03 a.m., 1500 block of Oak Avenue: A caller reported "extensive tagging" to Oak School, according to police. A report was taken.

Robbery

Dec. 12, 3:48 p.m., 200 block of Almond Avenue. A caller reported that a juvenile with short, shaved hair, between 15-17 years old with an athletic build, tried to take a bicycle. The suspect was wearing an orange and blue jersey type , v-neck shirt with the number 99 on the front. A report was taken.

DUI arrest

Dec. 9, 6:54 p.m., El Monte Avenue and Santa Barbara Drive: a 31-year-old male was arrested for driving while under the influence of alcohol.

Hit and run

Dec. 8, 10:04 p.m., 400 block of University Avenue: A caller reported a hit and run.The caller reported hearing a loud crash. The front fender of the vehicle was damaged. A report was taken.

Burglary

Dec. 7, 7:36 a.m., 100 block of W. Portola Avenue: There were pry marks and tools by the door to the girls gym at Egan Intermediate School, according to police. A report was taken.

Theft

Dec. 6, 10:41 a.m., Rancho Shopping Center: A caller reported theft of cash at the Starbuck's Coffee at Rancho Shopping Center.

The caller suspected an employee who was not there now, according to police. A report was taken.

Assault

Dec. 9, 5:21 p.m. A 37-year-old daughter left in a white Honda. A report was taken.
