2008 » Issue July 2 » PeopleJennifer Eckenhoff and Neal Tucker Jennifer Eckenhoff and Neal Tucker have announced their engagement to be married Oct. 4 in Atherton. The bride-to-be is the daughter of Bonnie Burdett Eckenhoff and the late Ben Eckenhoff of Los Altos. She graduated from Mountain View High School, earned a bachelor’s degree from Colorado University at Boulder and a doctorate in audiology from Northwestern University. She is employed as an audiologist at the California Ear Institute and the Let Them Hear Foundation in East Palo Alto. |
In Our OpinionEditorialWe’ve recently covered the passing of two of this community’s most involved and committed volunteers, Lee Lynch and Billy Russell. They represented an era when people helped out, not so they could get their name on a building, but because it was simply the right thing to do. There’s a new generation of volunteers hard at work right now in this community who are carrying on their legacy. The level of involvement in the recent Los Altos Relay For Life event bears this out. |
